Autism Spectrum Disorder
Jill has extensive experience working with children who function within the spectrum of Autism, and who demonstrate other difficulties in combination with Autism.
As a member of an intervention team, Jill will tailor make her approach with each child and his/her family, based on the behavioural intervention method they have chosen. Her therapy employs principals from and has complemented approaches such as Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), Developmental Individual Difference Relationship-Based Floortime Therapy (DIR Floortime), Relational Developmental Intervention (RDI), Reference & Regulate (R & R), and the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM).
Are you a family with a new autism diagnosis or are you seeking a diagnosis?
Autism Community Training (ACT) BC has a diagnosis hub. This hub helps families receiving a new diagnosis of autism for their child. It provides clear information on how to access government-funded services in British Columbia and how to spend the funds wisely. It is also helpful to families who may have received a diagnosis some time ago but are wanting to rethink their child’s program.
