Alternative Communication (AAC)
When an individual requires the use of pictures to communicate, or a high technology communication system (e.g., Proloquo2go, Autismate, or TouchChat), these devices can be designed and set up within the home for easy access . There is typically consultation to the family on an ongoing basis on how to use and maintain them.
For communication outside of the home, communication books, boards, and other portable communication systems can be designed and created, in addition to further development of any high technology devices being used.
