Jill Topp

BC speech language therapist Jill Topp, holds a Master of Arts degree in Speech Language Pathology.  She received it from Northwestern University in the Chicago area, in 1992. She is registered with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of British Columbia (CSHHPBC). She is also registered with the British Columbia Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (BCASLPA). Jill is certified by Speech Language and Audiology Canada (SAC). She is a registered on the Autism Service Provider list of British Columbia (RASP BC). She has been working as a registered and certified Speech Language Pathologist since 1992.

Jill Topp, speech language pathologist, has experience working with infants and toddlers (birth-3 years of age), pre-schoolers, and other children of all ages. These children have demonstrated communication difficulties due to Autism, developmental delays, cognitive delays, learning disabilities, hearing loss, Cerebral Palsy, brain injury, Apraxia of Speech, Attention Deficit Disorder, emotional and behavioral problems, cleft palates/lips, various syndromes, prenatal exposure to drugs and/or alcohol, English as a second language issues, and specific speech language delays. Jill Topp is also fluent in sign language.

The speech and language services provided by BC speech language therapist, Jill Topp include: therapeutic intervention, assessment, consultation, development of alternative communication systems, sign language instruction, and speech-language counselling. She is happy to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team when a client requires this. Jill provides speech and language services in Richmond, Ladner, Tsawwassen, Delta, New Westminster, Vancouver, Burnaby, Squamish and Whistler BC. She has an office based in Richmond, British Columbia, and will also travel to a client, when her schedule permits, if desired.
